Samantabhadra in union with his consort at the center of a simple landscape setting with mandalas of Transcendental Buddhas at each corner, dharmapala below, with Vajradhara above flanked by hierarchs including Karmapa and Sharmapa.

Catalogue Note
The painting depicts peaceful deities of the Bardo, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, and is painted in the eastern Tibetan Kham style introduced by the Situ Panchen Chokyi Jungne (1700-1774).
