Possibly Arthur Power, Dublin, acquired from the artist;
Sale, Adams, Dublin, 1 June 1989, lot 100, as Old Man on a Bogland path 

Although Paul Henry made a number of drawings of this kind and size when he was living in Surrey, the subject matter here, with its emphasis on the empty bogland, suggests that this is most likely an early Achill period work.
Man Crossing a Bog is numbered 190 in S. B. Kennedy’s forthcoming catalogue raisonné of Paul Henry’s oeuvre.
