the baluster-shaped body turned with foot rim and turned with concentric lines and band around the neck and the shoulder, applied with plain strap handle, the cover pointed, with twin floral thumb rest, single hinge and struck with maker's mark dated 1706, town mark for Joinville and the initials C.M., underside engraved with the initial B, grey waxed patina
