Description

  • diameter 44cm
the shallow bowl rising to broad, incurved rim prominently engraved with an armorial shield, struck on the opposing side with two marks and the initials CFD, traces of hammering, engraved with the initials PMD, grey patina with pitting to rim, possibly marked for Pierre Roze or his son in Geneva (Bossard 1920, pp. 90-91, mark no. 749)
