Description

  • diameter 27cm
painted in the centre with the arms of Gelderland beneath a coronet above a ribbon inscribed 'Gelderlant' within scrolling peonies and butterflies, the rim with five lobed vignettes of animals and cockerels alternating with pairs of triangular floral lappets, all reserved on a runny underglaze-blue ground, the top of the rim pierced with two suspension holes
