The standing cup and cover is offered together with this document, however, from this document we cannot ascertain whether this is the same cup as referred to in the document.

The text is a copy of an extract from a testament of the original owner of the cup, the priest Guillielmus de Wynt, dean of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the parish of St. Jacob in Ypres. The copy was signed and accorded by the notary public and clerk of the city of Ypres; A. Bulckaert. According to the copy, the original testament states that the Marquess Spinola presented the cup to De Wynt’s father, in gratitude for bringing him the message that the fleet from the East Indies had arrived in Spain.
