the baluster-shaped body turned with tall bell-shaped base, engraved with concentric bands, the domed lid with acorn finial, double acorn thumb rest and single hinge, the plain strap handle engraved with the initials IPMC, at the top buckle-shaped handle suspended from female heads, marked on underside of bottom, light grey patina
