the pear-shaped body ribbed and turned with neck band, applied with unusually long, hexagonal spout with hinged cover, joined to neck by stylised acanthus, the cover with acorn finial and indistinctly marked for Thun, hinged to plain strap handle, rich silver grey waxed patina, body lightly dented
