  • diameter 37.5cm
the raised centre inserted with a female figure allegorical for Temperance surrounded by interlaced strap work enlivened by mascaroons, half-figures, stags and bunches of fruit, plain cavetto with repair and cast with oval-shaped makers mark, the rim cast with five biblical scenes from the story of the Prodigal Son; the reverse with soldering around the central plaque, soldering to cavetto, engraved with the initials MW, dark grey varnished patina
