the baluster-shaped body incorporating the foot rim, the conical neck turned with two bands applied on the inside on de peg, the lid turned with slightly raised centre, struck with maker's mark and quality mark for Delft, the thumb rest formed by two balls, some pitting and encrustation, dark grey patina, in excavated condition
