Description
- height 14cm
cast and turned with incurved sides, the centre incorporating bottom, cast on the upper side with a five petal-flower within roundel, the underside with a cross inscribed AVE MARIA GRA PLE, also incorporating two stylised animals, the lid slightly domed, cast and turned with rod finial, struck with two marks, the first with the gothic letter h within circular, beaded border, the second with a crosier and the gothic letter r, with double acorn thumb rest, some pitting, rich dark grey patina
