Description

  • height baluster vase and cover 29cm (8)
'De Porceleyne Bijl', two of beaker form and three of baluster form with covers, each moulded with a rococo reserve painted in sepia, ochre and polychrome colours with the Lion of Holland resting at the foot of an orange tree tied with a bunch of seven arrows, shipping off the coast in the background, beneath the inscription: Hier rust ik veylig, surmounted by oranges, the domed covers with foliate form finials and painted with further orange branches
