Catalogue Note

Paulding Farnham, head designer at Tiffany & Co., created a series of precious vinaigrettes, or small purse-size scent bottles, for display at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900.  Farnham mounted similar favrile glass scent bottles executed by Tiffany Studios in gold and silver set with gem stones.
