the veneered exterior opening to reveal an interior painted with thirty-six panels decorated with various scenes with inscriptions in a border of medallions and rocaille and with shield shape bosses with inscriptions, inscribed on exterior in red ink, '  X 29.931 '; some refreshment to painted decoration
