A gilt-metal and repoussé silver frame in Italian 17th century style

of rectangular form with projecting corners, the cresting centred by a seraphim and scrolls, flanked on either side by a cherub with a wreath, with 'S' scrolls at each corner, the inner frame applied with a pierced stylised scrolls and foliage, with faceted ruby coloured glass cabochons, on toupie feet; together with an Italian 18th century parcel-gilt and glass frame, of rectangular form, with moulded borders; some damage  (unillustrated)
