The 1860 Shrubland Park Inventory records a silver gilt cup, cover and stand.

Born in 1674, Gabriel Sleath was apprenticed to Thomas Cooper in 1691and was freed after a seven year apprenticeship in 1701. He entered his first hallmark as a largeworker based in Gutter Lane in March 1707 and second and third marks in 1720 and 1739 respectively. Sleath had an extensive business in the production of hollow-ware until his death in 1756, his major works being the wine-cisterns in the Hermitage and that of the Grocers' Company.
