worked in polychrome silk threads on a satin weave yellow silk ground, with a central field worked with a strapwork trellis with  foliage, flowers and birds in each corner, Chinese masks and putti, dragonflies and cranes, with a deep outside border with scrolls, flowers and fox like animals, with a three sided polychrome fringe, top corner sections without embroidery
