Catalogue Note
This remarkable photographic record of the architectural transformation of the city of Moscow is rare today. The photographs of the rapid transformation, taken by Rodchenko, Savel'ev, Langman, Ignatovich, Kazachinsky with others from the archives of the Museum of the Revolution, the Communal Museum and the photographic agency Soyuz Foto, were commissioned by the State Publisher. Rodchenko's wife Stepanova designed the publication.
