Catalogue Note

Although this work is written almost entirely by Kruchenykh it also contains the first appearance in print of a text by Malevich. The aim was to attack nineteenth-century Russian Symbolism and its romantic outlook and praise the linguistic changes of contemporary poetry by Guro and her use of "zaum" language.
