first edition, published posthumously. Bozhidar completed the manuscript on 24 August 1914, very shortly before he committed suicide in September of that year. This edition was edited, with a forward and commentary, by Sergei Bobrov, the leader of Centrifuge, the Futurist literary group based in Moscow from 1913 to 1917. Shortly before his death, in the summer of 1914, Bozhidar had formed the group Liren with two friends from his native Kharkov, Gregorii Petnikov and Nikolai Aseev (also a member of Centrifuge).
