  • Two postcards to Rozanova signed by her publisher Andrei Shemshurin, and one by Lyubov Popova to Petr Popov
asking for Rozanova's help with Khruchenykh's article on Khlebnikov, which the poet has asked him to read, asking if her picture is ready, and arranging meetings with her; in her postcard, "Lyuba" Popova, describes her sightseeing in Rome, including the Castel St Angelo and places associated with Benvenuto Cellini and Giordano Bruno

Catalogue Note

Andrei Shemshurin was an important publisher, including works by Rozanova and Khruchenykh. The Constructivist painter and designer Lyubov Popova collaborated with Rozanova and Exter in the "Jack of Diamonds" exhibition; she had a particular interest in Italian Renaissance art.
