A collection of forty-eight photographs, mostly Imperial subjects and including images of four generations of the Imperial family, 1860s-c. 1917

Albumen Prints and Silver Prints (various sizes from 85 x 55mm. to 165 x 235mm.), comprising 24 cartes de visite, including portraits of Alexander II, his wife Marie, and Nicholas II with his brother as children, the majority annotated in ink and pencil on the reverse, and with various photographers' credits including W&D Downey, James Russell & Sons, E. Linde & Co, and Chr. Falkenbery also on the reverse, together with 18 cabinet card-sized photographs, the majority Imperial family portraits, the reverse with various annotations in ink and pencil, and with photographers' credits including Bergamasco, Levitsky and Pasetti, and a further 6 photographs of military subjects
