This collection of decrees issued under the reigns of Paul I (died 23 March 1801) and Alexander I include: a tariff treaty with the Ottoman Empire, with text in Russian and Turkish printed in Arabic text (no. 93); a treaty of friendship, trade and navigation with Sweden, with text in Russian and French (no. 72); a decree to print Ostsee calendars in Latvian, Finnish and Hebrew (no. 6); a decree regarding the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease in cattle, with fines for violations (no. 25); a decree regarding settlers beyond Lake Baikal (no. 57); others regarding the provinces of Irkutsk and Tobolsk (no. 11) and Poltava (no. 89), the Asian court of Astrakhan (no. 91), the University of Derpt (no. 99) and the resolution of a murder trial by the Tobolsk criminal court (no. 120).
