the front applied with an engraved silver armorial cartouche, unmarked. Together with another, also silver-mounted, and a silver-mounted mazer bowl, both in Elizabethan style. 3 pieces. 

Catalogue Note

The Irish arms are those of Forde impaling Knox for Mathew Forde of Seaford and Coolgreany, M.P. for Downpatrick, and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Knox of Dungannon and sister of Thomas, Ist Viscount Northland, whom he married in 1750.
