The complete portfolios, comprising six and five prints respectively, each print signed in pencil or ink, some numbered, Laurels No. One from the edition of 300 (this copy numbered 51), Laurels No. Two from the edition of 60 (this copy numbered 27), the Milton Avery dedicated 'To Chris Ritter', on various papers, published by Laurel Gallery, New York, 1947, in good condition except the Miró with stray ink in the lower margin, contained in original paper folders (one with a crease at lower right) and paste board portfolio covers (with soiling and wear) (2 portfolios)

Laurels No. One includes prints by Joan Miró (D. 51), Anne Ryan, Stanley William Hayter, Reginald Marsh, George Constant and Will Barnet.

Laurels No. Two includes prints by Milton Avery, Walter Pach, Gabor Peterdi (J. 31), Leonard Pytlak and Alfred Russell
