The book by Henry de Montherlant with accompanying linoleum cuts, comprising one printed in blue for the title page, 18 full page illustrations printed in black hors-texte, plus headers and culs-de-lampe printed in black, the headbands and initials printed in red, signed in black ink on the justification, this copy numbered 151 from a total edition of 250, published by Martin Fabiani, 1944, on Arches wove paper, in good condition apart from occasional faint off-printing, scattered foxing, contained in paper boards with linen-covered spine (light-stain and surface soiling)
