Catalogue Note

Following an interest in musical subject matter, Brandywine is from a series of paintings inspired by a trip through the Appalachian Mountains in the United States where the artist came across numerous rivers with melodic sounding names such as the Brandywine River.

Freeman has had over forty solo exhibitions at galleries such as The Rubicon Gallery, Dublin; The Solomon Gallery, Dublin and The Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast.
