Condition
The painting is richer and more contrasted in tone than the catalogue illustration. The panel is flat and cradled. There are restored splits to the upper centre (6cm) and to the lower centre (10cm). The paint surface, which has been recently cleaned and varnished, is in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some scattered old retouchings.
Offered in a painted wood frame in fairly good condition.
