Condition
The catalogue illsutraion is representative. The canvas has an old relining. There is a large tear to the upper right (41x25cm) as well as further numerous damages throughout. The paint surface, which has been recently cleaned, is not in good condition and is worn throughout. Old discoloured retouching is visible throughout, and inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some further retouching throughout.
Offered in a plaster gilt frame in quite good condition, some chips.
