Two other versions of this composition are known: one on loan to the Centraal Museum, Utrecht (101.5 by 130 cm.) and another, a fragment, in the Abbey of Grinbergen, Belgium (see B. Nicolson, Caravaggism in Europe, Vol. II, Oxford 1979, reproduced figs. 874 and 873 respectively, both as by imitators of Honthorst).
