Orazio de' Ferrari Voltri bapt 1606 - 1657 Genoa

The subject was painted on at least one other occasion by Orazio de Ferrari, in a painting in the Palazzo Bianco, Genoa, where the disposition of figures and, in particular, the pose of the blind man are not dissimilar to those in the present painting.
