We are grateful to Fred G. Meijer for confirming the attribution to Justus van Huysum on the basis of photographs.
Justus van Huysum, father of the more famous Jan van Huysum (1682-1749), seemed to be primarily active as a painter of interior decorations, see for example the flower still lifes painted for Cannenburgh Castle in Vaassen.
