Engraving after Teodoro Ghisi, circa 1570, a fine, early and rare impression of this second state (of seven), on paper with M and Star in Shield watermark (L. & L. 38), with thread margins, trimmed on the platemark in places, a small tear at centre of left edge of sheet, thin areas at corners, an unobtrusive horizontal fold at centre, otherwise in generally good condition
