Catalogue Note

Lullin notes on page 86 "in 1968.. (Hamilton's) son brought him a novelty gift of an oversized set of sugar "dentures" from a trip to the seaside...Hamilton playfully attached this to an electric toothbrush made by Braun. Some touches of paint were then applied to the sugar teeth...The ensuing image - like the earlier Toaster-affectionately parodies the advertising campaigns mounted by Braun for their consumer goods."
