Catalogue Note

This characteristic, lively drawing is preparatory for Maganza's painting in the Seminario Vescovile, at the church of Santa Maria in Vanzo, Padua, which probably dates from 1600-1610.  The saints represented, which are more clearly identifiable in the painting, are: Agatha, Agnes, Justina, Catherine, Apollonia, Lucy and Cecilia.
