- three figure studies: a seated peasant woman, with a basket by her side, and two studies of men reclining on the ground, one with his hat to the left
each bear old attributions to Jan Miel in brown ink (two lower left, one lower right);
all black chalk heightened with white chalk, with touches of dark grey wash within brown ink framing lines; two on brown paper, one on blue
