the squaring numbered along the left and upper edges in black chalk - pen and brown ink and wash and touches of pink and yellow wash, over black chalk, squared for transfer in black chalk
Catalogue Note
Schrorer was a painter and engraver active in Augsburg and Nuremberg in the first half of the Seventeenth Century. Otherwise little is known of him, although it is thought that he studied in Venice at the end of the 16th Century.
