Catalogue Note

Described in the Taurus catalogue as "the best written and most enduring account of exploits in the Antarctic" and written by the only survivor of Scott's winter journey. The pale, almost 'Polar', colour of the boards has resulted in the majority of copies beconing very grubby. This is an unusually clean example.
