Catalogue Note
a fine collection of 1870s photographs of sydney. The first album contains 67 photographs (53 full-page and 15 on 3 sheets) of Sydney, including a 360 degree panorama of Sydney from "the tower of the new Town Hall" in 10 photographs, notable buildings and local views, 18 of Ceylon (on 9 sheets) and 11 full-page photographs of scenes in England. The second album contains 28 fine photographs in and around Sydney.
