an early joint edition of wilson and bonaparte, edited by William Jardine and combining the whole of Wilson’s ornithology with the first three volumes of Bonaparte’s, the final volume of which did not appear until the year after this edition. This copy is from the more attractive issue, with the perches and backgrounds coloured.
