Diamond and emerald double-clip brooch, Van Cleef & Arpels, New York, circa 1935

The stylized floral and foliate motif set with a marquise-shaped diamond weighing approximately 2.00 carats, completed by numerous old European-cut, round, single-cut, baguette and square-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 20.00 carats, accented with 2 round cabochon emeralds, mounted in platinum, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, N.Y., numbered 17563, separates into a pair of clips.
