Catalogue Note
The goldwork and decoration on this suite, influenced by wrought-iron work, is very similar to that found in jewels by Boucheron of the same period. See Gilles Néret, Boucheron, pp. 38-40, and The Belle Epoque of French Jewellery, 1850-1910, Marie-Noel de Gary, p. 136, no. 62.
