Diamond and Ruby Monkey Brooch, late 19th Century

Designed as two monkey acrobats, one balanced on a bar with pearl terminals, the other swinging from a loop and chain, set with small single-cut diamonds and round rubies respectively, each with small round cabochon ruby eyes, mounted in silver and gold.
