The subjects including Gujari, Kakubha and Gauri raginis among others, all executed in a vivid palette of red, yellow and orange, the figures set amidst stylized landscapes and decorative architectural settings.
Catalogue Note
The treatment of the architectural details, backgrounds, and particularly the foreshortened figures of the men suggest a Punjab Hills origin for these works. Each folio bears an inscription in Urdu possibly identifying the subject.
