Prince Igor, with choreography by Michel Fokine, music by Alexander Borodin and décor by Nicholas Roerich was first produced by Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris on May 18, 1909. Adolph Bolm starred as the Polovetsian Chief.
