- late 18th century, no.15.536; a silver triple cased clock watch with centre seconds made for the Turkish Market
- diameter 91mm
gilt verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, cylindrical pillars, two polished steel hammers striking the hours and quarters on a large bell, signed and numbered gilt dust cap, white enamel dial, Turkish numerals, centre seconds, outer seconds track, blued steel beetle and poker hands, the inner case pierced and engraved with scroll and leaf work, the base with stylised crescent moon and a river scene numbered by the bow, the centre back with stylised engraved flower, scratch numbered 15536, the second case of similar design and stamped PM, the outer case with silver piqué work against simulated horn.
