Catalogue Note

The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1949, left the factory with steel Breguet numerals, and was sold on July 20th, the same year.

Reference 565 was launched in 1938 and was replaced by reference 2532 in 1952. Only 60 examples of the reference are known from the market and, of these, approximately 12 are with Breguet numerals. A rare reference, the model is favoured for its two-piece case with screw-down back. The appeal of this example is greatly enhanced by its use of Breguet numerals.
