  • circa 1944, no.29.161; a gold chronograph wristwatch with register and presentation inscription from the Mexican President Manuel Camacho
  • diameter 34mm
nickel lever movement, mono-metallic compensation balance, silvered dial, arabic numerals, two engine turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30-minute register, outer scale for telemeter, inner spiral tachometer scale, circular case with satin finished band, polished angled bezel and faceted lugs, olive pushers, case back with presentation inscription, case, dial and movement signed.

Catalogue Note

The case back bears a presentation inscription from the Mexican President (1940-1946) Manuel Avila Camacho, dated 9.9.1944. From the inscription, it would seem clear that this wristwatch was a gift to one of the President's trusted associates.
