Catalogue Note

The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1941 and was sold on May 4th, 1942. It is important to note that the Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives, dated March 2006, confirms that this wristwatch left the factory with a pink dial. As dial colour is not always confirmed on Extracts, it greatly enhances the desirability of the present wristwatch.

Production of reference 533 began in 1937 and ceased around 1957. The model differs from the 130 by bearing a broader, flat bezel. It is the bezel that gives the 533 a styling similar to the classic  'calatrava' reference 96.
