The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1952 and sold on January 28th, 1953.

Reference 2455 was manufactured in two series from 1950 to circa 1957.

The present lot belongs to the first series of the reference and only 6 other examples are publicly known. To the best of our knowledge, this wristwatch has never been offered at auction.
